Welcome to the website of Oakswarren Gundogs Weimaraners and Hungarian Vizslas. Established in 1995, we are Kennel Club assured breeders. Here at Oakswarren, our aim is to produce all round dogs of excellent type and temperament for family companions and show dogs with natural working ability.

About us

Oakswarren is a small kennel based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire. We are members of the Kennel Club accredited breeder scheme.

After owning Weimaraners for many years as family companions, I introduced Murphy (Hollieseast time traveller to Oakswarren) to our family home. He changed things and opened up a whole new world to me of the show ring. Although daunting at first, it has now become a hobby that I thoroughly enjoy and I have made lots of new friends along the way.

Our dogs are first and foremost loving family pets that live in our busy household but they love the limelight of the show ring and occasional days out working when I can find the time.
